The development works for the Akwaba intersection in the priority phase are as follows:
• The main structure OA1, in 2×3 lanes in prestressed ribbed slab linking the VGE boulevard and the Bassam expressway, with a length of 395.40 ml on deep foundation;
• The construction of a 3-lane roundabout at ground level, with connections from the 4 axes (VGE; Rue Atlantique Caraïbes; A100; Abidjan Airport Expressway);
• An open OA2 portal on piles for the crossing of the urban train and to manage the intersection with the Atlantique Caraïbes street
• The construction of retaining walls along the access ramps on the A100 and VGE side • The construction of reinforced embankment walls for the support of the relatively high OA2 access ramps on the Atlantique Caraïbes street.
